Tiffi Westcott, MSIS
Hi! I’m Tiffi
As an analyst and data-driven researcher, I use data, code, and research to make breakthroughs in business, software, and academia.
I am a Film Data Analyst with Katch Data, working on their media genome, which provides taste-based data for entertainment companies like Paramount, Cinedigm, and AMC Networks. I also work as a Senior Research Analyst for SFSU’s Dr. Samuel McCormick, transcribing and copyediting the Lectures on Lacan seminar series.
My work in both my academic and professional careers is at the intersection of technology and the psychosocial sciences. Concurrently with my career in audience analytics, I am working on a second master’s in Psychoanalysis and Film Theory, working as a Graduate Researcher at the Institute of Psychoanalysis with the Global Centre for Advanced Studies. Upon graduation, I will be continuing my studies in GCAS’ psychoanalytic training program.
I received my first master’s in Information Science with concentrations in Data Analytics and Computational Archaeology at Albany. I’m also an undergraduate alum of the Universities of Rochester and Albany, where I received my B.S. studying Data Analytics and Computational Archaeology at age 20.
A native of Wegmans territory in upstate NY, I enjoy traveling, producing both music & films, and perpetually learning.
